Specifications for the Work Being Proposed:

 

   1)    The Gymnasium Floor will be cleaned and prepared to receive the Sanding,

           Sealing and other work outlined in this proposal – Prior to beginning this work.

 

2)       The Gymnasium Flooring will be sanded in accordance with standard specifications and requirements to insure that the floor is smooth and monolithic. This work will involve drum-sanding with medium to very light drum-sanding paper. This helps to insure the appropriate monolithic surface.

 

3)       The SEALING process involves two coats of High-Grade Polyurethane, applied approximately one day apart. The first coat is Buff-Sanded after drying to insure the surface is smoothed to receive the second SEAL coat.

 

4)       After the second SEAL coat is dry, the Gym Floor LINES and LOGO (As Required) will be PAINTED, using the same Gamelines and Logo Layout you now have or some other design - onto your gym floor. Also, only Industrial Grade Sherwin Williams OSHA, ICI Paints or equal Paints are used for Gamelines, Logos and Lettering.

 

5)       After all Gamelines are dry, the first FINISH Coat of High-Grade Polyurethane is applied.

 

6)       Following the Drying Process of the  First FINISH Coat, the Surface Buff-Sanded to insure the Floor Surface is Smoothed to receive the Second FINISH coat.

 

The above outlined process will require approximately 7 – 10 days. You should allow 72 hours Drying Time before using the Gym Floor.

 

This quotation is based on the Dimensions outlined on the Price Quotation for this Work.

 

Special Information:

1)       Sanding, Painting and Finishing the Gym Floor, Please allow 7 – 10 Days.

2)       You would need to be off the floor 72 hours after the floor is completed.

3)       State Taxes have not been included.

4)       Payment will become due when the work is completed.
