Most gyms are multi-purpose.  So your gym floor has to hold up to a lot more than sports – dances, concerts, graduations and other activities.  It gets heavy foot traffic, stains, scuffs, impact from furniture and more.  SportsGuard covers are built tough to protect your investment.  They feature: 

 

  • Ultra-Durable 3-Ply Fabrics -  reinforcing polyester mesh yarns coated evenly with PVC on both sides, so you can use either side up.
  • Seams engineered to be as strong as the fabric itself, and to lay smooth and flat.

How to choose the right SportsGuard

fabric for your floor

 

SportsGuard covers come in four standard weights.  We will need answers to the following questions so we can recommend the most cost effective SportsGuard cover for your application.

 

  1. Size of the floor area to be covered:  Length x Width?
  2. How many times will you cover and uncover your floor per week/month/year?
  3. What type of functions will you have on the covered floor?
  4. Do you have a color preference?

 

Our sales department will help you choose the cover that is best for your needs.  And because we are the manufacturer, you can get your SportGuard cover in virtually any weight and color you want – even reversible two-color.

 

Cover sizing – the 10-foot solution

 

SportsGuard covers are constructed in 10’ wide sections for easy handling.  Two people can lay down and roll up sections covering an entire gym floor.   When figuring the size cover you need, we suggest adding 6” – 12” for overlapping each section.

For example, for a 75’ x 110’ floor, order 8 sections measuring 10’ x 110’ each.

Our all-steel Mobile Rack is a great time and back-saver.  Simply roll your rack out of storage, position it on the floor & lay the sections down, overlapping slightly.  SportsGuard racks can support up to 4800 pounds of fabric and hold 10’ wide sections of almost any length.  They are available in 6, 8 and 10 roller models.  Special racks can be built to order.
